Operating 104 helpline services across 7 states on providing awareness, prevention, and management of COVID 19: Assam, Himachal, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Chattisgarh.
Supporting the government in active surveillance and follow up of quarantine cases.
Advising beneficiaries on COVID 19, linking them to referral services.
Addressing the issues on nutrition, food safety, anxiety, stress during quarantine, and giving COVID-19 related information
Dissemination of messages on – safe handwash, social distancing, and home-based quarantine
Giving feedback and daily reporting to Govt on a daily basis on major public concerns on COVID-19.
Linking to social entitlements – For example in the state of Assam, Piramal teams are supporting the government in financial benefits disbursement by quickly collecting bank account details of beneficiaries. Teams support in ensuring beneficiaries access to entitlements e.g. Gareeb Kalyan Yojna
In Aspirational Districts Transformation Programme (In states of Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, UP and Rajasthan) – tracking of home quarantined cases and migrant population, 14 days telephonic follow up. Over 48000 cases have been reached out.
PRI Members and Interfaith Leaders are being oriented on COVID-19 management, so that they can adapt and promote preventive measures in their villages. Over 9800 PRI members and 1142 interfaith leaders have been sensitized so far. The team has also been engaging and sensitizing frontline workers and have been able to reach out to 9893 FLW.
In other states where Piramal presence is there, our teams are supporting the state government’s for effective planning, facilitating supply chain management of PPE. At the District level, their teams are assisting District Magistrates in need-based support required as an immediate response to COVID19.
