Kitchen Garden initiative by Adani Wilmar during COVID-19

At SuPoshan Project, behind all the efforts during the COVID19 crisis are the SuPoshan Sanginis, the unsung heroes who help fight poor nutrition at village level. Through the initiative ‘SuPoshan Vatika’, the Sanginis helped people grow their own food in their kitchen gardens by distributing seeds of chilli, brinjal, tomato, ladyfinger, cauliflower, etc. at Dhamra in Odisha, Kawai in Rajasthan, Narmada in Gujarat and many more locations. In addition to this, SuPoshan Sanginis do individual / family counselling of families in her village in order to improve nutrition at family / community level. For awareness generation, the Sangini also conducts village meetings, group meeting and training at village level, promoting the benefits of better nutrition.
